Windows 7 will not kick in UEFI way if the Windows viii Secure Kicking is in place.  You say you enabled the CSM, which is required, just you lot also need the UEFI boot option bachelor.

If yous have the UEFI boot option bachelor, using a Windows seven SP1 DVD and choose the UEFI selection during kicking using the Boot Device Menu, or through the BIOS.  The original Windows vii DVD does non work well with a newer UEFI Bios.

I appreciate you guys replying but what yous're saying did not aid me at all, did you fifty-fifty read my mail service or merely the title? I idea I was being pretty clear.

I have institute the solution though. It wasn't a trouble with my estimator but with the DVD. The DVD was merely bootable in Legacy way, and not in UEFI style.

I stumbled upon the solution by reading a post from some forum, did not find anything on it on the Microsoft website (only found people asking the aforementioned kind of questions). Information technology might be somewhere on hither but information technology sure isn't like shooting fish in a barrel to find.

I had to download oscdimg.exe from an external website and place it in my System32 folder. This lets you convert an ISO that is but bootable in Legacy mode to one that is either only bootable in UEFI style or bootable in both. And so I had to burn this ISO to a new DVD.

If you lot are reading this and have the aforementioned problem I had, search google or youtube for 'oscdimg.exe catechumen iso uefi' or something. I institute many sites maxim yous could get oscdimg.exe from the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit merely after installing it I still could not discover it anywhere on my PC so I downloaded information technology from an other site instead.

Note: I did find a page on the Microsoft website that lets you download a new ISO that (probably) is bootable in UEFI mode besides, but downloading a large file is not an option for everybody (Countries/ISP with a download limit, people who don't accept a regular internet subscription and are using their phone'due south net instead, or people who but have a **** cyberspace connexion,...). The option to download the ISO through a torrent would be far better since you can pause the download without having to kickoff all over again if it fails.
